Our mission

We exist to open doors
that stayed closed too long.

Too many people on Chicago's South Side have the work ethic, the intelligence, and the drive — but not the credentials or the pathway. Bliss Global exists to change that. We provide structured, rigorous trade skills training alongside financial literacy and life skills, because we believe the people who come through our doors deserve every tool available to succeed.

🎯

A focused mission

We train South Side residents for careers in HVAC — a skilled trade with strong wages, consistent demand, and clear pathways to advancement. No experience needed. Serious work ethic required.

📍

Rooted in Roseland

We are headquartered in Roseland at 233 E. 115th Street. This is not a program imported from elsewhere — it was designed by and for this part of the city, with deep roots in this neighborhood.

🧱

The whole person

Technical skills open doors. Life skills keep them open. Every Bliss Global student completes financial literacy training and a violence prevention curriculum alongside their HVAC coursework.

🤝

Partnership-driven

We're building relationships with employers, workforce development agencies, and community organizations across Chicagoland to expand opportunity for our graduates.

Why workforce development

The problem we're
built to solve.

Chicago's South Side has generations of talent and generations of barriers. Workforce development — real, structured, credential-bearing training — is one of the most direct ways to change someone's economic situation permanently. That is the logic behind Bliss Global.

Reason 01

Credentials change what's possible

A nationally recognized credential like NCCER HVAC certification tells an employer exactly what a candidate can do. It removes the subjectivity from hiring and puts qualified candidates on equal footing regardless of their zip code.

Reason 02

Trades employment is stable

Skilled tradespeople cannot be outsourced overseas. HVAC technicians are needed everywhere, every season, in every economic climate. A credential in the skilled trades is a form of economic stability that is difficult to displace.

Reason 03

Untapped talent is here

Chicago's South Side is not lacking in motivated people. It has historically lacked access to quality training pipelines that connect residents directly to industry-recognized credentials and employment outcomes.

Why HVAC specifically

Not just any trade.
The right trade.

We chose HVAC intentionally. It is one of the most in-demand skilled trades in the country, with a growing gap between retiring technicians and trained replacements entering the workforce. That gap is an opportunity for our students.

💰

Wages that change lives

Entry-level HVAC technicians in the Chicago metro area start above the regional median wage. With experience, certifications, and advancement, experienced technicians earn significantly more — on a trajectory that compounds over a career.

📈

A growing industry

The U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics projects continued growth in HVAC employment. New construction, aging building systems, and the transition to more efficient technology all drive sustained demand for qualified technicians.

🔑

Credentials that travel

NCCER certification, EPA 608, and OSHA 10 are nationally recognized. A Bliss Global graduate is not limited to one employer or one region. Their credentials work anywhere.

🏗️

No four-year degree required

Our 8-month program produces career-ready graduates without requiring a college degree, significant upfront cost, or years of time away from family and financial obligations. That accessibility is the point.

Community impact

What we're building
in this neighborhood.

The impact of workforce training is not abstract. It shows up in real people's lives, in families that have more financial breathing room, and in a neighborhood that builds its own skilled workforce instead of importing it from elsewhere.

Graduate Stories

Our first cohort completed training in 2026 — the first group of South Side residents to earn NCCER, EPA 608, and OSHA 10 credentials through this program. Their stories, in their own words, will be featured here as they step into their new careers.

Graduate testimonials and outcomes will appear here as our first cohort settles into their new roles.

Employer Connections

We are actively building relationships with HVAC contractors and commercial employers across Chicagoland who are committed to hiring from our graduating cohorts.

Employer partners will be listed here as hiring relationships are confirmed.

Community Ties

Bliss Global operates inside an ecosystem of South Side organizations. We aim to share resources, refer students, and collaborate with partners who share a commitment to economic mobility.

Community partnerships and joint initiatives will be detailed here as they are established.

Khalid Partee

Founder & Executive Director · Bliss Global Corp.

Khalid Partee founded Bliss Global Corp. with a clear conviction: that a structured, high-quality skilled trades program — one that treats students as capable adults and holds them to a real standard — can permanently shift someone's economic trajectory.

He teaches every module of the HVAC curriculum himself and mentors every student individually from orientation through graduation. His approach is direct and results-oriented: students leave with credentials, not just certificates.

Khalid brings both industry knowledge and community credibility to this work. He built this program from the ground up in Roseland — a deliberate choice rooted in a belief that this neighborhood deserves quality workforce infrastructure, not charity.

Our values

What we believe.
How we operate.

These are not aspirational statements on a wall. They describe how we build this program, how we treat students, and what we hold ourselves accountable to.

⚙️

Rigor over rhetoric

We believe people deserve a training program that actually prepares them for the job — not one that just makes them feel good about attending. We hold the curriculum and the student to a real standard.

📍

Place matters

We are in Roseland on purpose. Building workforce capacity in the neighborhood where our students live is not a logistical detail — it is a strategic commitment to keeping economic opportunity local.

🧭

Whole-person development

Technical credentials are necessary but not sufficient. We integrate financial literacy, violence prevention, and soft skills into the program because the transition from training to career requires the full toolkit.

🔍

Transparency

We will tell you what we know, what we don't know yet, and what we're working toward. We are a young organization with a clear mission, and we intend to earn trust through honesty and outcomes — not marketing.

🤲

Accountability to students

Every decision we make — about curriculum, schedule, partnerships, and program design — gets filtered through a single question: does this make it more or less likely that our students succeed?

📐

Industry alignment

We train to the standards employers actually require. NCCER, EPA 608, OSHA 10 — these are not arbitrary choices. They are the credentials Chicago-area contractors ask for, and that's exactly what our graduates carry.

Where we're going

This is the beginning,
not the blueprint.

Bliss Global launched with one program, one location, and one cohort. The long-term vision is larger — building a workforce development infrastructure that serves more trades, more students, and more of the South Side.

01
Expand annual cohort capacity
Increase the number of students trained per year as operations, funding, and facilities allow.
02
Build direct employer pipelines
Formalize graduate placement partnerships with HVAC contractors and commercial employers across Chicagoland.
03
Add additional trades pathways
Explore plumbing, electrical, and other skilled trades that offer similar wage and employment trajectories for South Side residents.
04
Deepen community partnerships
Expand relationships with Chicago-area workforce development organizations, city programs, and community anchors to increase student access and support resources.
05
Document and share outcomes
Track graduate employment, wages, and career advancement over time. Publish what we learn so that other organizations can build from this model.
